- Dr. Emmet KerinDr. Emmet Kerin
Dr. Kerin studied medicine at the National University of Ireland, Galway. With an interest in emergency medicine and Rehabilitation he worked as a Resident Medical Officer in Australia.
On returning to Ireland, Dr. Kerin completed a four year vocational training scheme in Limerick, graduating with membership of the Irish College of General Practitioners and he is listed on the Specialist Register of General Practice.

- Dr. Jason McMahonDr. Jason McMahon
Dr. McMahon is a native of Limerick and received his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin. He trained in Beaumont Hospital Dublin, the University Regional and Maternity Hospitals Limerick, before completing the University of Limerick Mid-Western Vocational GP Training Scheme. Dr. McMahon is a member of The Irish College of General Practitioners, and is listed on the Specialist Register for General Practice, with The Irish Medical Council.

- Dr. Bryan HalpinDr. Bryan Halpin
A Limerick native also, Dr. Bryan Halpin graduated from Medicine in UCC in 2011. He subsequently worked as a junior doctor in Cork , Limerick, Tralee and Ennis in various specialties comprising Geriatric Medicine, Paediatrics, Palliative Medicine, Psychiatry, Oncology/Haematology and Ear/Nose & Throat Surgery before completing the Mid-West GP Training Scheme in 2017.
Bryan is a member of the Irish College of General Practitioners and on the Specialist Register for GP with the Irish Medical Council . He has completed post-graduate studies in Palliative Care and is currently undertaking postgraduate studies in Occupational Medicine. He has worked in Mary Immaculate College as the College Doctor.
Bryan has a keen interest in Paediatrics, Occupational Medicine, Palliative Care, Medicolegal issues and family planning. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his young family. He is an avid sports fan and has finally conceded any hopes of turning pro!!
- Dr. Cian CagneyDr. Cian Cagney
A Limerick native, Dr Cian Cagney graduated from NUIG in 2012. He subsequently worked as a non-consultant hospital doctor in Limerick and Galway in various areas including Geriatric medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine, Oncology and Nephrology, completing his specialist training in General Practice in 2017.
He is a member of the Irish College of General Practitioners and on the Specialist Register for GP with the Irish Medical Council of Ireland, Cian has also successfully completed postgraduate studies in Musculoskeletal/Sports medicine as well as palliative care. Currently, he is undertaking postgraduate studies in Occupational Medicine run by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
Cian enjoys all aspects of General Practice including Sports medicine, Minor procedures and steroid injections, Paediatrics, sexual health screening, Travel Medicine and preventative medicine including pre-employment medicals and occupational medicine. When not working , Cian is kept busy with his young family. He enjoys most sports and is still an active member of the GAA.
- Dr. Ciara BoomsmaDr. Ciara Boomsma
Ciara was educated in University College Cork, completing her undergraduate medical degree with honours in 2010.
Following a short period practicing medicine in Perth, Western Australia, she returned to Dublin to complete the RCSI and Dublin North East Vocational Training Scheme in General Practice in 2017.She is a member of the Irish College of General Practitioners and on the Specialist Register for General Practice with the Irish Medical Council.Ciara has a special interest in Women’s Health completing the Diploma in Obstetrics and Women’s Health with the Royal College of Physicians in 2013 and holds a Certificate in Contraception and Long Acting Reversible Contraception with the ICGP.Medical Education

- Michelle McMahonMichelle McMahon
Michelle, our practice nurse, graduated from UCC with honours in 2014. She went on to work as a nurse in London and most recently in Sydney before moving home to Ireland.
She has experience working in an oncology day unit, urology, orthopaedics and cardiothoracics.
Michelle is continuously updating her CPD to progress her skills and knowledge in General Practice.
